Fulfilled Prophecies vs False Prophets

It’s a bit old, but Mike Bennett of UCG’s Forward to the Kingdom! blog posted “Some Fulfilled Prophecies”.  In spite of its age, it stood out to me this week after yet another diatribe about failed prophecies from someone who really should know better.

Then, of course, Robert Thiel did an article on a real false prophet on his Church of God News blog in “Ronald Weinland’s Sermon, Writings, and Memory”.

  1. John, thanks for the link to the Forward to the Kingdom blog. Of course my little post was only a compilation of a few biblical prophecies from four published booklets: You Can Understand Bible Prophecy http://www.ucg.org/booklets/UP/, Is the Bible True? http://www.gnmagazine.org/booklets/BT/, Jesus Christ: The Real Story http://www.ucg.org/booklets/JC/ and The United States and Britain in Bible Prophecy http://www.gnmagazine.org/booklets/US/. Thanks!

  2. @ucgmikebennett: You're quite welcome. I thought it makes the point rather well that it isn't just one or two prophecies scattered here and there that have been fulfilled.
