Gunther Link, 45, was a devout Austrian Catholic. Described as “a very religious man”, he became stuck in an elevator. So, naturally he prayed to be released, and a short while later he was rescued.
Well, he was naturally very thankful for his rescue, so he went directly to the Weinhaus church in Vienna to give thanks. It seems that he had grabbed onto the stone altar, which fell upon him, killing him instantly.

There have been no reports of anyone blaming this on Madonna to date.
