Update on Aung San Suu Kyi

Today must be a current events day!  I cannot keep up with it all.

Today, the Telegraph reported, “Burma claims it will release Aung San Suu Kyi”.  It was stated she could be released in order to “organise her party”.  What that means exactly, though, is unclear because there are all sorts of stipulations and limits placed upon her by the nation’s constitution.

However, the article also notes that expectations of her release in the past have been circumvented.  There is no real reason to believe it will be any different this time.

God loves all of humanity, and it is His desire to save as many as are willing.  For a unique story of Burma’s role, and especially the Karen tribe, in spreading God’s word in Southeast Asia, be sure to check out the article series “The Miracle of Myanmar”.
