We should endeavor to remember that the Holocaust was real. The Holocaust shows the frightening ability for human beings to descend to the level of animals, a direct consequence of believing we were descended from animals instead of being a special creation in God’s eyes.

We should also be mindful that concentration camps will become a reality again during the Tribulation, and it is likely to be the same groups of people that will be targeted. Those in the COG will likely be regarded as “Judaizers” and will probably be thrown into camps alongside of Jews, except for individuals who may be taken to a place of safety. While the existence of a place of safety isn’t guaranteed, there are verses in the Bible that indicate that most likely some will be taken away to be protected. Others, those who keep the commandments, will be left behind and Satan will pursue them.

9But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

PS: There is also an interesting project, Hitler’s Children, where children of Holocaust perpetrators try to make peace with survivors and children of survivors of the Holocaust. This was a moving video for me.
