I have updated the article “What Happens When You Die? 2: Is Hell the Punishment for Sinners?” to bring it more in line with the current publishing standards.
Jesus talked quite a bit about hell, and this is an acknowledged fact by many theologians. Would a loving God have been so silent about such an important matter prior to Jesus’ birth and life? Is hell real? Does hell exist? Do “bad people” go to hell?
When Jesus spoke about “hell”, though, He most often used the word “Gehenna”. You see a picture of Gehenna above, and there is no fire! What does all this mean? Read the article to found out!
