Glenn Beck Acknowledges the United States of America is Israel in Prophecy

Just published hours ago on WND, Glenn Beck admits “MEDIA POWERHOUSE: U.S. IDENTIFIED IN BIBLE“.

“Israel was split into two kingdoms, the northern kingdom and the southern kingdom,” Beck explained.

Many people don’t realize that ancient Israel (the Northern Kingdom) actually went to war against the Jews (the Southern Kingdom of Judah) over many years. Four Books of the Bible, 1 and 2 Kings as well as 1 and 2 Chronicles, document the separate national histories of the kingdoms of Israel and Judah.

I remember in the 1970s, some in the Church were saying that in the end times, many would wake up to the fact that the British and Americans were predominantly descended from Israel.  The warning message would not make much sense without this knowledge, so there were more than a few who believed people would come to understand it, even if they did not want to believe it.

  1. Powerful news from such a high profile source. I wonder how many people will also begin searching out obeying God as the Israelites were commanded to, with this knowledge? I wonder…

    Have a wonderful Sabbath, brother.

    • @Alex: I hope some will. Unfortunately, being Israel did not make ancient Israel obey, so I don’t expect it to lead to a large scale revival. Still, every single person that does turn to God is precious in His sight, and one day everyone will know He is God. Have a wonderful Sabbath yourself, Alex.

  2. COGWA recently updated their chart of “Abraham’s Descendants” in their Prophecy article on Life Hope & Truth about the “12 Tribes of Israel“.

Probably nothing new to us old-timers, but it does highlight an important point that Abraham was the father of many nations, not just of Israel. I recently knew of someone who was looking for answers to the situation in the Middle East. It is funny that people will turn everywhere but the Bible for answers! Even a cursory reading of the book reveals a family that grew into tribes, which grew into nations, and from this dysfunctional family come most of the world’s present geopolitical problems.

Even the most modern of problems can in part be traced back to the British, one of the tribes of Israel, making a lot of vague and contradictory promises about carving up the Middle East after WWI. This family squabble has been going on for thousands of years, and blunder after blunder has done nothing to resolve it.
