The Telegraph reported on 10 July 2009 “Ebola found in pigs for first time raising fears it could mutate and threaten humans”. This strain of Ebola is not known to cause problems in humans. However, like the swine flu strain seen earlier this year, it could mutate into something much more dangerous.
Raising pigs for food exposes the farmers to the risks of infectious diseases. This risk is passed on to others they have contact with. God stated that swine is unclean and not fit to eat.
