Exposing Minors to Violence is Free Speech?

I’m writing this from the road, but this was whacky enough to blog about.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger of California signed a bill that would prohibit the sale or rental of violent video games to minors.  Well, it appears that the court in California ruled it unconstitutional.  Why?  According to them, it violates free speech.

Huh?  Don’t justices take classes in logic?  Am I just listening to the wrong radio stations on the road?

So, where does this put laws restricting giving minors copies of Playboy?
