John D is a computer geek, who has been tinkering with technology for at least 34 years. I got my B.S. in Systems Analysis finally in 1995, and I’ve done everything from building websites like this to programming, desktop support and project management.
I had early exposure to the Worldwide Church of God (WCG), but it honestly had quite a few problems during the 1970s. Many years later, however, I realized that not only did no other philosophy or religion make sense, but I also realized what a hypocrite I was for not following what I knew to be true.
When I went looking, however, I discovered a WCG I no longer knew or even understood, and in its place were many splintered churches. Part of the impetus in my writing is to not only catalog my own spiritual journey but also to document some of the history of the Church in this age.
Most of all, however, it is to document what the Bible says and compare it to my own ideas, the ideas of the various COG organizations and to some extent the larger mainstream Christian beliefs.
